Longest BASE Jump World Record by Dean Potter

Submitted by Andrew | Posted: 4 years ago
In August 2009, Dean Potter scrambled up the north face of the Eiger in Switzerland to set a new world record for the longest BASE jump. In his wingsuit, Dean's flight lasted nearly 3 minutes and covered a distance of 3.4 miles (5.5 kilometers). Next up, Dean will have to outdo the 2006 world record for the highest BASE jump in a winguit.
