In episode 4 of the Super Frenchie Diaries, Matthias Giraud pulls off the world's first ski-BASE jump on the Matterhorn in the Pennine Alps, Switzerland. He was lucky enough to avoid the same disaster that cost the late Shane McConkey his life -- losing a ski on exit. But Matthias likes a little excitement. After all, he has outrun an avalanche by ski-BASE jumping off a cliff to escape it's deadly path.
