Skydivers and planes go together like parachutes and gravity... except when planes fly along jump run when it's time to pull. It's a good thing parachutes and gravity still work well together, because that's the only thing stopping this guy from hitting the plane in freefall. Have you ever had a close call like this in freefall?

This is ninety seconds of dumb and dumber. At least he realized how dumb this was and hopefully learned from it. In other news, I've heard AADs save lives, and rumor has it that flaring helps for soft landings. I still think this insane dirty low pull is the lowest I've ever seen -- it's just 8 seconds of pure crazy!

Don't get me wrong, I love GoPro! But GoPro cameras and metal handles don't play nice with each other -- especially when freeflying. Yet another reminder to watch those GoPros and protect your handles. On the bright side, at least she didn't lose her reserve handle. What's your take on GoPros and/or metal handles?

Mike Holmes survived a nasty double malfunction at Taupo Tandem Skydiving in New Zealand, making a nauseating thud as he hit the ground at 70+ MPH. His intense footage aired on the Today Show shortly after his accident in December 2006. I'm not sure that luckily landing in a plump patch of blackberry bushes helped Mike survive this high speed crash (maybe it did?), but I bet he eats blackberries every day for breakfast; wouldn't you?

This is crazysauce! A skydiver crashes into a paraglider while tracking over a beach in Oludeniz, Turkey. I'm not sure I agree with blaming the skydiver or the paraglider; I think the mistake here was sharing airspace in the first place, but some of you might feel differently. What do you think?

This is the ultimate Friday Freakout. A paraplegic tandem skydive. A stalled plane in a corkscrew. A loose reserve handle. And scared skydivers. The first few things that come to mind are "oh f*ck" and "get out now!" So happy to see everyone land safely. That was pretty intense. Thanks to Frederik Potgieter for sharing his video.

Canopy relative work 101: don't do this. If you're in to CRW and believe "it's not a wrap without a cutaway," this just goes to show you that not all wraps end in a reserve ride... and no lines were harmed in the making of this video. Have you ever had a wrap before, and did it result in a cutaway?

Poor Robi Lanana never did a tandem skydive, but Andre Stepsky got video of Robi's first AFF jump (level 1) at Skydive DeLand, which didn't exactly go according to plan. Both instructors lose their grip on exit, but luckily he remembered to arch like his life depended on it and the instructors eventually caught his ass. Good stuff Robi... way to get stable on your own; at least you got some head-down action as a student!

Infinity tumbling on a paraglider can be a lot of fun. Especially when you first learn how... until you try one too many tumbles and become gift wrapped in your own canopy. David, you're one lucky guy; that was quite the mess you were in! Good job on pulling your reserve with your arm caught in the lines.
